Inbox Agent

Invoices from your mailbox, in Glimps automatically.

Connect your Microsoft 365 mailbox once. After that the Inbox Agent picks up every invoice by itself, including the reminder, the forwarded mail, and the invoice inside a conversation. Nobody has to forward anything anymore.

On every plan, at no extra cost

Invoice as a PDF: picked up, into Glimps

What changes

No more forwarding invoices

Invoices arrive by mail, with different people and in different forms. The Inbox Agent makes sure they all land in one place, without anyone having to think about it.

Without the Inbox Agent

  • Someone opens every mail, saves the PDF, and uploads or forwards it.
  • An invoice sent to a colleague stays in their inbox.
  • A reminder with the invoice attached is read as a reminder, not as an invoice.
  • You only notice at the dunning letter.

With the Inbox Agent

  • Every invoice that lands in the mailbox shows up in Glimps by itself.
  • Including the reminder, the forwarded mail, and the invoice inside a conversation.
  • The invoice is already read and coded when you open it.
  • Nobody has to forward anything anymore.
How it works

Connect once, then it runs by itself

  1. Connect your mailbox

Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and pick the mailbox your invoices arrive in, for example payables@. That takes a few minutes.
  2. The Inbox Agent reads along

It recognizes which mail contains an invoice, even when the subject is about something else. Questions, quotes, and newsletters it leaves alone.
  3. The invoice is ready in Glimps

Read, coded, and ready for approval. The processed mail moves to a folder in Outlook, so you can see what already came in.

Or drag a mail into the Glimps folder

Is there an invoice in your own inbox? Drag it into the Glimps folder in Outlook and it gets picked up. That works for mail from months ago too.

There is still an invoice in your own inbox

Smart enough

What it picks up, and what it leaves alone

A normal mail rule looks at the subject. The Inbox Agent looks at what is attached, so it does not miss an invoice inside a conversation about something else.

It picks up

  • Invoices and credit notes
  • Receipts
  • Reminders with the invoice attached
  • Invoices a colleague forwarded
  • Invoices inside an ongoing mail thread

It leaves alone

  • Questions about an invoice
  • Quotes and order confirmations
  • Remittance advice and statements
  • Newsletters and out of office replies
  • Everything from senders you exclude

When it is unsure, it throws nothing away. That mail appears on your dashboard, so you can still pick it up with one click.

You stay in control

An agent in your mailbox, with clear limits

Look first

You can start in look-only mode. The Inbox Agent then shows which invoices it would pick up, without doing anything. You see straight away how many invoices go past Glimps today.

Suspicious mail set aside

An unknown sender, or a different bank account than usual? Glimps sets that invoice aside so you look at it first.

You choose what it reads

You point at the mailbox and the folders. You exclude senders or whole domains with one click, and it skips that mail entirely.

A picked-up invoice follows the same rules as any other invoice. By default it is prepared and you press post. Read how automatic posting works

Questions about the Inbox Agent

Want to try Glimps yourself?Try the demo

Yes. Once pickup is on, every invoice that arrives in the connected mailbox lands in Glimps automatically. There it is read, coded, and prepared, just like an invoice you upload yourself. You do not have to forward or save anything.

No, only the mailbox and folders you point at. Usually that is a shared mailbox such as payables@ or invoices@, not anyone personal mail. Mail that is not an invoice is not stored by Glimps.

No. Glimps recognizes the same invoice, even when it is sent again, forwarded, or carries a different file name.

A picked-up invoice follows the same rules as any other invoice. By default it is prepared and you press post. Only for suppliers you released for it does Glimps post by itself.

A few minutes. You sign in with your Microsoft 365 account, give consent, and pick the folders. After that it runs in the background.

The connection works with Microsoft 365. If you use Gmail or something else, your administration has its own invoice address. Set a forwarding rule to that address and your invoices arrive automatically too.

Nothing extra. The Inbox Agent is on every plan. You pay per processed invoice, just as with uploading.
