Cookie Statement

Version 1.0 · effective 9 August 2026

This statement covers our website useglimps.com and our platform platform.useglimps.com. The rules differ per environment, so we treat them separately.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit. We also use similar techniques, such as localStorage. In this statement we call all of that "cookies".

2. The website: useglimps.com

Necessary storage, no consent required

Microsoft ClarityUsage analysis: heatmaps and session replayMicrosoft, stored in the United States
CrispLive chat and support conversationsCrisp, France

Microsoft Clarity is a special case. Under the Clarity terms, Microsoft and Glimps are independent controllers. Microsoft may also use that data for its own purposes. Clarity therefore runs only on our marketing website, never on the platform or on invoice screens.

If you decline the cookie banner or ignore it, we do not load Google Analytics, Clarity or Crisp. The website continues to work normally.

Scheduling appointments

Our booking page runs on Cal.eu. We do not load a script or embed for it on our website. You open that page yourself through a link. From that point the cookie policy of that provider applies.

Managing your choice

On your first visit we ask for consent through the cookie banner. Accept and decline are two equally reachable buttons. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Product analytics and session replay

We use PostHog in the platform for product analytics and session replay. This works differently from the website.

  • It is enabled by default for all platform users. There is no banner in the platform.
  • The configuration masks all input fields and all displayed text. Invoice content, amounts and free text do not end up in recordings.
  • We use it for security, error investigation and product improvement. Not for advertising.
  • The data is held in a European PostHog data centre. PostHog, Inc. is a US company. Standard contractual clauses apply to that relationship.
  • Retention: 12 months for product analytics, 30 days for session recordings.

Do not want this? Send an email to [email protected] from your account email address. We will disable analytics and session replay for your user. Your access to the platform does not change. If you are an administrator and want this arranged for your whole organisation, say so in the same email.

Accepting our terms of use describes this usage contractually. It does not replace consent where the law separately requires it.
