Insights

See where the manual work sits, and remove it.

Insights shows which invoices still need a human, at which step and for which supplier. Then Glimps works out which setting removes that work. Numbers you click, instead of numbers to stare at.

Four numbers

What you see at the top, in plain words

Four numbers for the period you pick. Click one and you get the list of invoices behind it.

Processed

Invoices that really landed in Exact Online in this period. Not what came in, but what got posted.

Zero-touch

Invoices that were fully processed without a human step.

Lead time

The median from arrival to posting. Half were faster, half took longer.

Corrections

Invoices someone had to correct by hand after they were read in.

Approval does not count against zero-touch

Zero-touch looks at four steps: arrival, supplier, coding, and sending to Exact Online. Approval is not one of them, because it is meant to be human work. An invoice you approved that otherwise went through by itself still counts as zero-touch. You are not punished for being careful.

The dashboard also shows what was processed today and your zero-touch rate. Reach a milestone and Glimps celebrates it with you.

Where the work sits

Per step: how much is still done by hand?

A table of process steps with the share still done by hand. That is your shortlist for the next improvement. Click a step and you see exactly which invoices they were.

You also see how many invoices have a purchase order. An invoice without an order has nothing to be held against, so that is often where people stay involved.

One invoice can need a hand at more than one step, so the steps do not add up.

Per supplier

Sort on most manual work

Per supplier you see volume, value, zero-touch rate, manual steps, corrections, and median time. Sort on most manual work and the top of the list is where a coding rule pays for itself.

Glimps does the maths, you flip the switch

Glimps proposes concrete settings, each with its evidence and a button that takes you to the setting. You decide.

More autopilot

For a supplier with a run of clean invoices. Glimps can then post more of those by itself.

Example evidence

KPN: 12 invoices this month, all 12 zero-touch.

Go to the setting

Fixed coding

For a supplier you coded by hand too often. Set it once, and you are done with it.

Example evidence

Technische Unie: 34 manual steps in 38 invoices.

Go to the setting View invoices

A contract

For a supplier that invoices regularly without a purchase order. The invoice then has something to be held against.

Example evidence

Eneco: an invoice every month, never a purchase order.

Go to the setting View invoices

You record a contract in the contract register, an add-on at EUR 149 per month.

Filter and export

Exactly the slice you are after

Filters

Filter by period, supplier, processing type, and purchase order coverage. Click a process step to see its invoices.

PeriodSupplierProcessing typePurchase order

Export to CSV

Export the supplier breakdown to CSV, for whoever wants it in a spreadsheet. Your controller happy, you done.

Tip: compare two periods rather than staring at one. 61% zero-touch means little by itself. Rising from 48% to 61% after you fixed the coding for three suppliers means everything.

An invoice is zero-touch when it was fully processed without a human step. Glimps looks at four steps for this: arrival, supplier, coding, and sending to Exact Online. If someone had to step in at any of those, the invoice does not count as zero-touch.

No. Approval is meant to be human work: you want someone to look at that invoice. An invoice that was approved but otherwise went through by itself still counts as zero-touch.

As the median from arrival to posting in Exact Online. Half of the invoices were faster, half took longer. That way one invoice that waited three weeks on a question does not skew the whole number.

Only invoices that really landed in Exact Online in the chosen period. An invoice still waiting for approval counts once it is posted.

One number by itself says little. Compare two periods instead. Going from 48% to 61% after you fixed the coding for three suppliers: that says everything.

No. Glimps does the arithmetic and proposes a concrete setting, with the evidence attached. The button takes you to that setting and you decide whether to switch it on.

Yes. You export the supplier breakdown to CSV, for whoever wants it in a spreadsheet. Filter first by period, supplier, processing type, or purchase order coverage, and you get exactly that slice.

Yes, to Luca, the assistant in Glimps. For example about spend per supplier or GL account, where approval gets stuck, processing times, recurring invoices, or possible duplicates. Prefer ChatGPT or Claude? They can ask the same through the MCP connection, read-only.

Yes. Accounting firms and groups with several administrations get an organization overview. Per administration you see booked purchase and sales, zero-touch, and the work still open.
