Klippa is now Doxis. Time to choose? Six alternatives, and which one posts by itself

A new name often brings the question: do you stay, or look around? This list puts six alternatives to Klippa, now Doxis SpendControl, side by side, with the prices from their own site. Why teams search

  • According to their Help Center (updated February 2025), the submitter checks all fields and then submits the invoice.

Klippa is now called Doxis

Doxis, a German document automation company, acquired Klippa in March 2025. Since March 30, 2026 Klippa operates under the Doxis name, and since June 1, 2026 Klippa SpendControl is called Doxis SpendControl. DocHorizon is now Doxis AI.dp. According to the announcement of March 30, 2026, customers keep working with the same people and solutions. So if you look for a Doxis SpendControl alternative, this is the same comparison.

One thing, and all of it

Doxis SpendControl is a suite for invoices, expenses, payment cards and spend management. Glimps only does purchase invoices in Exact Online, and goes all the way: from the mail with the PDF to the journal entry. Whoever only wants to solve that part gets less tool and more work taken off their hands.

What 300 invoices a month cost

According to the Klippa pricing page, Effective costs 95 euro per month for 4,000 invoices a year, and the link with your accounting package is a 50 euro add-on: 145 euro together. Glimps Professional costs 149 euro for 300 invoices a month, with the Exact connection, the Inbox Agent and the MCP server included. For that difference of four euro, at Glimps the invoice is also posted by itself.

A firm that processes for clients often picks Basecone, and with clients in different packages Zenvoices or TriFact365. If your company posts its own purchase invoices in Exact Online, Glimps is made for you: it posts them by itself in your own administration, and your accountant simply looks along there.
