Glimps vs Scan Sys: nothing to set up, Glimps posts your purchase invoices itself

Yes, per supplier and as far as you allow. A new supplier is prepared by Glimps and waits for you, a supplier you trust Glimps posts by itself. There are three routes to that: a clean track record for that supplier, an invoice that fully matches the purchase order within your tolerance, or an approved contract that covers the invoice. A supplier only moves up through a proposal you accept, and one correction moves it back down automatically.

When Glimps is unsure about a field, it leaves that field empty instead of guessing. A possible duplicate invoice, a duplicate check that is unavailable, a changed bank account or arithmetic that does not add up stop the posting. An amount above your limit, a supplier that was silent for twelve months, a credit note or a currency that differs from before limit how far Glimps goes by itself. While a check is open Glimps does not post, and Glimps never pays.

Yes. Scan Sys lists integrations on its own site with AFAS, Exact Globe and Exact Online, among others. Glimps is built only for Exact Online and goes deep because of that: suppliers, GL accounts, VAT codes, cost centres, projects and journals per administration come straight from Exact Online. Glimps also fetches purchase orders and receipts from there by itself.

Through the Inbox Agent. You connect your Microsoft 365 mailbox once, and from then on every invoice lands in Glimps by itself: also the reminder with the invoice attached, forwarded mail and invoices somewhere inside a mail thread. If you first want to see what it would pick up, you start in look-only mode. The Inbox Agent is on every plan, and if you use another mail system, your administration has its own invoice address.

Yes. Glimps lays every invoice line next to the purchase order and the receipt, and those come straight from Exact Online. You set tolerances separately in euro and in percent. PO matching is an add-on at 149 euro per month on Professional and Business.

Glimps does not pass your data to a model provider to train general models with it. Glimps also does not learn across customers: what you correct stays within your own account and only improves your own processing. And when you ask something through Claude or ChatGPT, the MCP server can only read, never change or post anything.

Yes. Posted invoices and their PDF live in Exact Online, so you lose nothing. And you can easily let Glimps run next to Scan Sys for a while, until you see for yourself that it works.
